3rd time skiing, he is a natural

He tends to like barreling down the hills. Sometimes he got going a little too fast for my comfort level but he did great.

Chase doesn't have school today. We are going skiing a little bit later but he is practicing his reading right now. He can record the stories he is reading and then send them to his teacher through the tablets. We had a Parent Teacher conference this past week and he is doing very well academically. He is currently reading at a 1st grade level. He is reading at the level the expect kids to be at at the end of Kindergarten. He is also placed in an advanced math group within his Kindergarten math level. His writing needs a little work. The teacher said he sometimes gives up when it is too hard or he doesn't know how to write. He is in a cursive club after school because they apparently don't really teach it anymore. His report card was almost all threes (the highest) with a few twos sprinkled here and there. Behavior is still a work in progress. She said he can get pretty silly after lunch and can be a distraction to his learning and to others. We are working on that.
